چکیده
Aims. This paper reports on single-pulse radio observations of PSR B1702–19 and their implications for pulsar emission theories. Methods. These observations were made with the Westerbork Synthesis Radio Telescope at 1380 and 328 MHz. The PA-swing is used to constrain possible geometries of the pulsar and the single-pulse data is analysed for subpulse modulation correlations between the main pulse

Possible Evidence for the Pulsed X-ray Emission from Outer Gap in Psr
The fastest millisecond pulsar PSR B1937+21 presents an interpulse separated from the main pulse by nealy 180 at radio frequencies. Recently, the ASCA observations (Takahashi et al. 2001) detected pulsed X-ray emission from this pulsar. Only a single narrow X-ray pulse is observed, which is coincident with the radio interpulse in phase. We investigate the possible origin of the pulsed X-rays fr...

متن کاملMapping the magnetosphere of PSR B 1055 – 52
We present a geometric study of the radio and γ-ray pulsar B1055–52 based on recent observations at the Parkes radio telescope. We conclude that the pulsar’s magnetic axis is inclined at an angle of 75◦ to its rotation axis and that both its radio main pulse and interpulse are emitted at the same height above their respective poles. This height is unlikely to be higher or much lower than 700 km...
متن کاملHigh-precision geometry of a double-pole pulsar
High time resolution observations of PSR B0906−49 (or PSR J0908−4913) over a wide range of frequencies have enabled us to determine the geometry and beam shape of the pulsar. We have used the position angle traverse to determine highly-constrained solutions to the rotating vector model which show conclusively that PSR B0906−49 is an orthogonal rotator. The accuracy obtained in measuring the geo...
متن کاملXMM - Newton spectral and timing observations of the millisecond pulsar PSR J 0218 + 4232
We present XMM-Newton MOS imaging and PN timing data of the millisecond pulsar PSR J0218+4232. We confirm the previously detected pulsations of PSR J0218+4232 and we show that the folded lightcurve is dependent on energy. We present the broad band (0.2-10.0 keV) spectrum of this millisecond pulsar, as well as the spectra of: the pulsed emission, the individual pulses, the interpulse and the non...
